Purchase FAQ
This page answers common questions before and after you buy a Jerbix source-code product. The contractual terms live in the Terms of Service; where the two differ, the Terms of Service govern.
Before you buy
What exactly am I buying?
Jerbix is a SaaS source-code starter that you deploy yourself. You get the complete product source — front end, back end, database migrations, build and deployment configuration, and documentation — not a hosted service and not a right to use someone else's account. You run it on your own domain and cloud account, with your own data, your own users, and your own business logic.
Do I need an account to buy?
Yes. Checkout requires you to be signed in, because delivery and your order are tied to that account: we use it to verify payment, send delivery information, and find the right order when you come back with a question. Registration takes a single email address that can receive mail, and the address must be verified before checkout.
What does it cost, and how do I pay?
The current standard product costs 99 USD as a one-time payment, with no automatic renewal. Stripe processes the payment and offers the methods it supports. The amount, currency, and taxes shown at checkout govern your order.
Can I get an invoice?
Stripe sends a payment receipt to your checkout email after purchase. If you need another kind of invoice or tax document, contact us through the support email with your entity details and we will tell you what we can provide.
What else will I pay for?
The product price excludes the third-party costs of running your own deployment: domain, Cloudflare resources, email service, payment processing, database, and so on, billed by the providers you choose. We neither handle those charges nor take a cut of them.
Delivery
How soon do I get the source?
Once payment is confirmed, we contact you through the account and email on the order and send you the way to access the source. If delivery information does not arrive or access fails, contact us with your order information and we will investigate and resend it.
What am I allowed to do with it?
The supplied source is governed by the MIT License in its repository. You may use it for commercial projects, and you may modify it and redistribute or sell it. The licence does not cover the Jerbix name, domains, or third-party trademarks.
Is the source complete, and what do I still have to do?
The source contains every module in the current release. What remains yours is environment setup and going live: creating resources in your own cloud account, filling in configuration, deploying, and connecting it to your business. A purchase does not include deployment done for you, ongoing operations, or custom development.
Can I build a competing product with it?
The MIT License does not restrict the use, so you may modify and sell it. Two limits do apply: the licence grants no rights to Jerbix branding or trademarks, and you may not imply any official affiliation with Jerbix.
Deployment and documentation
How hard is the deployment, and how long does it take?
The default path is Cloudflare Workers plus D1, with step-by-step instructions in the documentation. How long it takes depends on how familiar you are with the Cloudflare dashboard and whether you need to wire up email, payments, and other third-party services. Leave room for your own configuration and testing.
Where is the documentation?
The source repository ships the full documentation in both Chinese and English, with chapters covering installation, configuration, database, email, payments, deployment, and more. The documentation site is linked from the "Documentation" entry in the site navigation.
Is there a demo site?
A demo site exists for looking at the interface and interactions; it does not contain the source code. We maintain it, may change it at any time, and it is not a commitment about product quality.
Updates and support
How do I get later updates?
"Free updates" means later publicly released source updates for the purchased product carry no additional charge. Updates are announced through the account and email used for the purchase; whether to upgrade is your call, and you should back up and test your own changes first.
What does "lifetime support" cover?
It covers installation, configuration, explanations of existing features, and defect reports, handled through the support email. There is no preset expiry and no annual renewal. It excludes custom development, deployment performed for you, ongoing operations, troubleshooting your modified business code, and resolving third-party outages (Cloudflare, Stripe, email providers). No fixed response time or round-the-clock service is promised.
Who do I contact when a third-party service breaks?
Third-party problems go to that provider's own support. We can help you tell a misconfiguration apart from a provider outage, but we do not guarantee third-party availability.
Refunds and order issues
Can I get a refund?
The source is reproducible digital content. Once the source has been delivered or access has been granted, we generally do not issue refunds for change of mind, no longer needing it, or personal technical preference.
Exceptions apply to duplicate charges, cases where delivery fails, and situations where applicable law requires a refund. If the source has not been delivered yet, contact us to cancel the order and request a refund. Please include your purchase email, order number, and a description of the problem — never a full card number or security code. Where a refund is due, we process it through the original payment channel; the time it takes to appear depends on your payment provider.
If you have statutory rights of withdrawal, cancellation, or remedy, this page does not exclude them.
